About Mark Young Outfitters

Come experience some of the best private land hunting and fishing Montana has to offer. Located at the base of the Rocky Mountain Front in Augusta, Montana, our ranch includes lush farmland along creek and river bottoms, with terrain that is ideal for trophy whitetail, mule deer and antelope. When you book with us, an experienced guide with Mark Young Outfitters LLC will lead you through pristine private land that is ideal for hunting and fly-fishing. Make it easy by booking your lodging accommodations with us and rest easy in our historic Oscar Kenck Lodge.

The Sun River flows through approximately 10 miles of our family-operated cattle ranch and is a honey hole for excellent fly-fishing, specifically for brown trout and rainbow trout. Jump on a raft with our expert fly-fishing guides and enjoy a day well-spent on the river. You can fish by yourself or with a group, May through August. For hunting season, our guided archery hunts begin in September while general season (archery or rifle) runs from late October thru November.
