Pheasant Hunting

MARK YOUNG OUTFITTERS NOW PROVIDES GUIDED AND DIY UPLAND BIRD HUNTING.

While our main operation is based in Augusta, Montana, we have also premier leases that offer ideal pheasant habitat near Conrad, Montana. In addition to pheasants, Hungarian partridges and grouse are available to hunt on our land and our leased properties. If you’re looking for cold-weather hunting, waterfowl hunting is also available on our Augusta ranch, depending on weather and waterfowl flight patterns.

Guided hunters participate in hunts with our lead bird hunting guide Lowell and Knox, his black lab. He can guide up to four clients per day. If you’d like to do a DIY hunt, you may also bring your own dogs.

Guided Pheasant Hunt

We offer a variety of options for our guided pheasant hunts. There is a maximum of four clients per guide, with discounts given for groups of three to four. Pricing is available below.

$500/day per person (for 1st and 2nd hunters)

$350/half-day per person (for 1st and 2nd hunters)

$400/day per person (for 3rd and 4th hunters)

$280/half-day per person (for 3rd and 4th hunters)

DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Pheasant Hunt

With our terrain and property access, it’s easy to navigate a do-it-yourself pheasant hunt. Feel free to bring your own trained bird dog and enjoy the landscapes and experience of bird hunting in Montana.

Guided Waterfowl Hunt

With the various waterways that weave in and through our available hunting grounds, a guided waterfowl hunt with Mark Young Outfitters is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while hunting.

$400/day per person (two hunter minimum)

$280/half-day per person (for 1st and 2nd hunters)

$300/day (for 3rd and 4th hunters)
